Cellulose diacetate, sometimes called diacetate, is a synthetic polymer made by treating cellulose with acetic acid. It consists of two acetyl functional groups on each unit of D-anhydroglucopyranose of the cellulose molecule.
It is fragile since it is based on cellulose. When cellulose diacetate deteriorates, it shrinks and releases acetic acid causing vinegar syndrome.
Cellulose diacetate (DS 2.3~2.5) is prepared consecutively from the cellulose triacetate solution by diluting with water and heating. It is soluble in acetone and can be formed into fibers or films.

🌟 Cigarette Filter Production: Cellulose acetate Tow is the major raw material in producing filter rods. After stretching, gathering, and setting the shape, it is wrapped by tissue paper to meet specification requirements.
🌟 Hazard Reduction: Filter rods can greatly reduce hazardous materials such as tar and nicotine, while preserving the tobacco's aroma and bouquet.
🌟 High Popularity: Known for being clean, odorless, chemically stable, and having excellent filtration effects.
